U.S. Navy

This is the second of five paintings for the Veterans Educational Historic Monument, this painting depicts the stories of the men and women of the U.S. Navy. It’s a departure from my usual subject matter and the most emotional of my career. The location is the committal hall at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, where final rites are held.
