CAN 450

Academy of Realist Art

Join Robyn Asquini for a 3-day workshop where we will immerse ourselves in the vibrant world of the renowned Spanish painter Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida. Over the course of three days, we will explore Sorolla’s techniques in his learning how to capture the essence of light, colour, and impressionist brushwork in our own artwork. Through a presentation, discussions and live demonstration, participants will discover the beauty of Sorolla’s work and gain valuable insights into his artistic process. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to expand your skills and creativity in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Robyn Asquini is a graduate of the Academy of Realist Art and an Art Renewal Centre (ARC) Associate Living Master. She has won numerous awards for her paintings from the Society of Canadian Artists, Federation of Canadian Artists, Canadian Portrait Society, and the Art Renewal Center. Recently, she exhibited in New York at the Salmagundi Club’s Open Figurative Exhibition and The Dacia Gallery 13th Anniversary Group Exhibit. Her work is held in private collections internationally.

The class will meet in our studio from 10 am – 4 pm each day.

Full workshop price is $450, and a $150 deposit is required to save your spot. The balance will be due on the first day of the workshop
