ARC Associate Living Master Arina Gordienko is a Finalist of the ModPortrait International Portrait Competition and will be exhibiting her work 'Long Walk Alone in the Tender Flame' at the MEAM Museum in Barcelona from 18th of June until 3d of October 2021

Exhibition of the finalist works of the VIII Edition of the ModPortrait 2020 Contest convened by the virtual gallery Artelibre, being the first international figurative painting contest exclusively dedicated to portraiture and one of the most prominent of contemporary figurative art in collaboration with the MEAM.

Faces of the elderly and protective suits for health workers; confinement and teleworking, all these scenes possibly define the collective imagination of the past 2020. Despite the prominence of the virus, the portraits presented in the 8th edition of the ModPortrait contest flee from this theme to offer a global vision of society from the gaze of 700 artists from 51 different countries. A selection of 90 finalist works in the portrait competition, promoted by the virtual gallery ArteLibre, arrives in Barcelona after having been exhibited for two months at the Bantierra Palace in Zaragoza and will remain at the MEAM (European Museum of Modern Art) until the beginning of September.
