New Purchase Award

We are pleased to announce the next purchase award for the 12th International ARC Salon Competition. Seth Haverkamp’s painting titled, House and Home has now been added to the ARC Collection
	"The girl in the painting is of my seven year old, Penelope. She always does interesting hand movements and gestures as she makes her way through daily life. I wanted to try to capture that, as well as capture a hint of her childish innocence that seven year olds posses. The bird house represents a house. They come and go. The nest is home. It's where the heart is. The house is just a place we inhabit. The nest is where we grow into individuals and become who we are."
All purchase awards will be exhibited at the live exhibition for the ARC Salon which will travel from the Salmagundi Club in New York City to the MEAM museum in Barcelona in 2017. More purchase award announcements to follow.
