	Congratulations to ARC Living Master™ Daniel Greene for winning the Founder's Award in the 2016 Pastel Society of America's competition for his painting "Wool Spindles, Silk and Moire". This is the second year in a row that he has won the top prize and the 42nd award he has won in the society.
Daniel has also recently won the Gary Erbe prize in the Allied Artists exhibition that will be held at the Salmagundi Club for his painting "Sophie - Bleecker St." His work will also be featured in two books "Pure Color 2: The Best of Pastel" and "21st Century Figurative Art”. A book about Daniel Greene's life and work will also be published in 2017 titled "Subways and Studios".
