Atelier of Fine Art

Atelier of Fine Art is devoted to the classical education of realism through oil paintings and charcoal drafting. We specialize in the placement of gifted High School graduates applying into art colleges, specialized art schools, and Universities since 2012 with great success.  AOFA caters to all ages from 14 through 97. We feel it is a responsibility to infuse classical skills sets into our society. Our setting is soft lit a classically designed school with a touch of home. All students are supplied with water, baked goods and coffee for an at home comfortable feel. Easels and benches are circled around the model stage. The counters have marble tops to accomodate still life paintings. AOFA has a model stand with lighting also for specialized photography of paintings. The website is being remodeled but most info is in place for the school. We have an art store right next to us and framing on the other side, which is ideal. Atelier of Fine Art is located on the edge of NoHo and Studio City where all the arts are thriving. We are surrounded by the music industry, theater, movie productions and the arts. Many new realist galleries are emerging in Pasedena and downtown LA 30 minutes away, such as Corey Helford Gallery and Arcadia Contemporary. Some of the most incrediable artists emerged from this area such as Jeremy Lipking, Julio Reyes, Morgan Weistling, myself and many many others who have helped bring mastery back into the fold.
