Snow Day

I wanted the color of the light to be icy and bright to depict the way sunshine can be almost blinding against the snow on a winter day. To get maximum natural illumination, I staged this painting in my garage with the door open. While painting, I tweaked the colors to accentuate the sensation of coldness.
