Breakfast Special: Ham'r and Eggs

I feel that the appeal of Breakfast Special: Ham'r & Eggs is the sense of movement, action, and anticipation in the piece. At any moment, the candle will burn through the string, the hammer will fall and hit the vice, and the egg will crack. To heighten the tension of the scene, I wanted the background to be very dramatic with no shadows. I placed this contraption as if on a stage - all the characters are in place, the scene is set, and the performance is just about to occur.
