Princess Margaret (1882-1920), called Daisy by the family, was one of Queen Victoria’s grandchildren. Queen Victoria noted in her Journal that Sohn had done ‘a lovely head of Daisy’.
Signed and dated: C. Sohn . j / 1885. Inscribed on the back with the names of the artist and sitter and the date, 1884.
