Adagio

We pass this serene little river on our way to our favorite spot to cross country ski. I have painted here often; the visual rhythm and pace intercepted only by the trumpeter swans, pheasants and eagles who winter there. I love when blue-gray skies begin to break at the end of a peaceful day.
