The Barn Door

While the majority of my work is done in acrylic on canvas, I have been painting watercolor on paper longer. My paint application technique in both media are very similar. This is a painting of my model, Michael. This painting is special to me in that it was the painting which helped me achieve one of my lifelong dreams. This is the painting which earned me signature status with the American Watercolor Society. This status was a goal I set for myself in high school. It took many years to get there but persistence and determination paid off.
