Blind

Blind was inspired by a poem I wrote in college. I wanted to represent the written words visually to capture the feeling that, in many ways, even those who can see can be blind to the pain and suffering in the world. In this painting, I also wanted to emulate the wonderful chiaroscuro qualities inspired by Caravaggio.
