Point Lobos California State Preserve is one of the most beautiful places where the land meets the sea. In art school I learned how this place was an early inspiration for the photographers, Ansel Adams and Edward Weston. I was hooked when I first visited and it has been one of my favorite places to paint. Sand Hill Cresendo was my attempt to capture the incredable color and lighting affects of a sunset on the water, sky, and land.
