Traci Gilchrest: The Swan

This painting came about via collaboration with dancers from the North Carolina Dance Theater, in the tradition of Serge Diaghilev and the Ballet Russes. The use of twisting figures in conjunction with geometric shapes/forms has me pondering the next steps of capturing more the “body in motion”.
