Carlos Bruscianelli is a Realist painter born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1980. In 2000, he began to study Civil Engineering at the Central University of Venezuela, but his artistic interest induced him to take classes in realistic painting at the Museo Tessari - Rizzo, where he specialized in oil painting on canvas and soft pastel. Finally, Carlos Bruscianelli ended his engineering studies and dedicated himself completely to his artistic production.

He began his training as an artist at the Tessari - Rizzo Museum in 2004 and finished in 2011. During that period, he participated in their annual Salon and obtained two honorable mentions. Simultaneously, he participated in the annual hall of Faber-Castell, and was a  finalist in four consecutive opportunities, obtaining two honorable mentions. He was also a finalist in the Salon Juan Lovera in 2012.

In 2008, for the first time, he exhibited his work at the prestigious Dimaca Gallery, which had been located at the renowned LPG Gallery in his hometown.

Since in 2014, he has achieved success in the Miami and New York art scenes.   In 2015, he participated in Art Revolution Taipei, representing Venezuela. In 2016 and 2017 he was a finalist in the Still Life category of the ARC Salon. That same year he decided to leave his native country due to political and economic instability and to reside in Miami Beach, where now he produces his artistic work.

Silver Medal in International Art Professionals Awards 2019, Figurative Painting Category, Mondial Art Academia, Paris, France.


Honorable Mention Award in recognition of the painting “Kerr II”, OPA´s Spring 2018 Online Showcase Award Winners (Oil Painters of America) USA.


Finalist at 13th International Art Renewal Center (ARC) Salon 2017.
