The results of the 23rd ARC Scholarship competition will be posted on Friday, September 8, 2023.
At ARC we view our scholarship program as one of the most important. In order for future generations to produce great art, we must not lose the accumulated knowledge of the last several centuries. At our ARC Approved™ atelier schools, we know these methods are still taught by some of the greatest artists alive today and the students who are the recipients of these scholarships will receive the training necessary to create great works of art and carry the knowledge to the next generation.

22nd ARC Scholarship Competition - AAPL Winner

ARC Living Master Vicki Sullivan is a finalist in the prestigious Almanara Art Prize in Spain. Out of over 2500 entries from 63 countries, her work was selected as one of the 50 pieces to be showcased in the physical exhibition. The Almanara Art Prize 2023 Online Exhibition can be viewed online by clicking here.
The Almenara Art Prize celebrates its Awards Gala and Painting Demonstration on October 13-14, 2023. The events will take place in the “Real Circulo de la Amistad” in Córdoba. Calle Alfonso XIII, 14, 14001 Córdoba Spain.
Realism on the Hudson - AAPL Member Show and Sale

Celebrate the long-standing artistic tradition of depicting the world realistically by some of the finest artists in the country.
The exhibition of traditional paintings and drawings by members of the American Artists Professional League will be on display and for sale. This exhibition commemorates AAPL's 95th anniversary since its founding in New York City back in 1928.
The opening reception takes place on August 27, 2023 from 1-3pm. The exhibition is on view at the Historic Howland Cultural Center, 477 Main Street, Beacon, NY 12508 from August 26- October 1, 2023.

ModPortrait

ARC Living Masters Ana Schmidt and Jon Boe Paulsen will be among the artists exhibiting at ModPortrait, an exhibition of award-winning works from the international competition organized by the Galería artelibre in collaboration with the MEAM.
ModPortrait is considered one of the first contests dedicated exclusively to figurative portraits and one of the most outstanding in contemporary art. The contest is held annually and the finalist works are exhibited at the MEAM in Barcelona.
The exhibition runs until October 1, 2023 at the European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM), Barra de Ferro, 5, 08003 Barcelona, Spain.

2023 Rogue Classical Atelier Student Showcase

Rogue Classical Atelier is currently holding their annual student showcase online this year! 5 divisions, Youth, Intermediate (Teens and Beginning Adults), Advanced Atelier Drawings, Advanced Atelier Original paintings, and Advanced Atelier Studies will be on display.
