The California Art Club, an ARC Allied Organization, and The Old Mill Foundation will mark the 20th anniversary of their gallery partnership with a celebratory “Paint/Sculpt-Out” at the historic site on Sunday, July 14, from 1 to 4 p.m.

The public is invited to attend this free family-friendly event and watch the artists at work. Children will be provided with supplies for creating their own paintings inspired by The Old Mill and its nearly two-acres of gardens.

The two nonprofit organizations joined forces in 1999 to provide a dedicated venue – the California Art Club Gallery at The Old Mill – for presenting rotating themed exhibitions that showcase contemporary-traditional fine art created by the Club’s artist members, which include many of the country’s most revered representational painters and sculptors.

During the July 14 event, artists associated with the century-old arts organization will be creating new artwork for the display, 20th Anniversary Exhibition: California Art Club Gallery at The Old Mill, which will unveil in September.
