PoetsArtists Magazine Competition and the Bennett Prize

PoetsArtists Magazine has extended the deadline of the Painting the Figure now competition until April 15, 2018.  Information about the competition can be found here. 
   
The Bennett Prize, created in 2018, awards $50,000 to one woman artist to create her own solo exhibition of figurative realist paintings, which will travel the country. The Prize will propel the careers of women painters who have not yet realized full professional recognition, empowering new artists and those who have painted for many years. 
   
The call for entries opens on April 13, 2018 and ends on Sept. 28, 2018.
