Dutch Artists in Paris, 1789-1914

This exhibition highlights the extensive artistic and aesthetic exchanges between Dutch and French painters from the reign of Napoleon to the beginning of the twentieth century. Starting in the First Empire, and especially from 1850 on, over a thousand Dutch painters left their country to renew their inspiration.

The exhibition runs from 2/6 - 5/13/2018 at the Petit Palais, Avenue Winston Churchill, Paris, Île-de-France 75008.
