Featuring paintings by ARC Living Master™, Jacob Collins and 60 works by 37 of the students and alumni of The Water Street Atelier, an ARC Approved Atelier™ located in New York City.
Among The Water Street alumni in the show are Juliette Aristides, Dennis Cheaney, Tony Curanaj, Camie Davis, Carl Dobsky, Aaron Brent Harker, Nicholas Hiltner, Michael Klein, Kristin Künc, Arantzazu Martínez, Edward Minoff, Nita Moore, Anthony Noel, Mikel Olazabal, Jeremy R. Oertel, Nicholas Raynolds, Travis Schlaht, Timothy Stotz, N. Michelle Tully, Scott Waddell, Patricia Watwood, Sam Wisneski, and Robert Zeller.
About Jacob Collins
Jacob Collins (born 1964) is a graduate of Columbia College, New York, the New York Academy of Art and the New York Studio School. In 1994 he opened The Water Street Atelier in a loft in Brooklyn, New York and relocated it to Manhattan in 2002. He is also founder and director of the Grand Central Academy of Art, New York, as well as the Hudson River School for Landscape, Elmira, NY. His work has been exhibited in prestigious galleries in the United States and Europe as well as the Arnot Art Museum, Hunter, NY; the Memorial Art Museum, Rochester, NY; the Union League in New York City; the Long Beach Museum of Art, Long Beach, California. His work is included in the collections of the Fogg Art Museum at Harvard University, the Mead Art Museum at Amherst College and the Forbes collection to name a few. He has been commissioned to paint portraits of J. Paul Getty, Jr., President George H.W. Bush and U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice Warren Burger.
