Sisters of the Brush and Palette: Woman Artists of the Guild

The Guild of Boston Artists is proud to present Sisters of the Brush and Palette: Woman Artists of the Guild. In this moment rich with discourse concerning diversity and gender equity in every industry, this special exhibition will celebrates the significant contributions of the Guild's contemporary female members to the cultural life of the city of Boston. The Guild's women artists bring immense skill, considered thought, and unflagging passion to their work and have found enduring success within an organization that was built on the belief in the democracy of art.

In conjunction with the exhibition, The Guild will host a Panel Discussion on November 6th to provide the opportunity for dialogue between the artists and the public. The featured artists will discuss their various paths within the profession while touching on their role as women artists and offering their opinions on issues of inclusion and gender equity in the arts.

The exhibition runs from October 30 - November 27, 2021 at The Guild of Boston Artists, 162 Newbury St., Boston, MA 02116.
