Spring in Giethoorn

Giethoorn is a small village in Holland.  The Netherlands is at sea level.  This rural village has canals as streets, similar to Amsterdam.  As we boated down one street my eye caught a yellow rowboat tied to the dock of a residence.  The sun brought it to my attention and the moment was one I decided to paint.
