Tyler Berry (b. 1994) was born and raised in Middlefield, CT. In 2016 he received a BFA from Hartford Art School, and would later go on to work as an animator in Greece and then Poland on the feature film Loving Vincent. During this experience he frequented art museums across Europe, studying and familiarising himself with the work of the Old Masters. With subjects ranging from portrait and figure to landscape and still life, fidelity to nature and the pursuit of beauty are the driving undercurrents of his work. Tyler is the recipient of numerous awards and has participated in many group shows around New England. He currently lives and works in Long Island City, NY, where he attends Grand Central Atelier’s core program.
