Giddy Richt

United States

A Tennessee born and raised artist, Giddy Richt is currently delving into the nuances of color pencil painting with her main interest being portraiture in representational style. She uses a combination of drawing from life in addition to taking her own refrence photos to arrange her compositions. She is excitedly exploring using different techniques and supports for her colored pencil works which gives it an untraditioinal look. Her goal is for her work to present more like an oil painting than drawing and to dispel myths about the medium of color pencil. Hopefully she can turn more people onto the magic of color pencil as a fine art medium.
