Lois Pluskey grew up in Levittown Pennsylvania. From an early age she loved to draw, paint and the creative process. She studied at The Philadelphia College of Art, (currently), The University of the Arts and Wilkes University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art. Her career history is that of a graphic designer and she also went on to earn a Web Master’s Certificate at Penn State, retiring after 23 years at Intermetro Industries Corporation as their “in-house” Graphic Designer and Senior Digital Content Specialist. As a life-long learner and artist she has returned to her roots in fine art and is currently studying under the apprenticeship of Atelier Joel Carson Jones learning realistic charcoal and charcoal and pastel chalk drawing. I am also experimenting in mixed media and watercolor.
