Marja Tock, born in Zaanstad (1964)

I began drawing when I was just 6 years old and I never stopped .

Since 2015 a self-taught painter next to my job as a nurse.

Because of my work as a nurse I've seen such special moments.

Some were so impressive that I had to capture the emotions in my paintings.

My art consists of unique moments of humans and nature.

I like to play with light and contrasts.

I have had two exhibitions and a workshop in the Netherlands.

I am a finalist of the Arc renewal center 2019-2020.

And nominated for the Rembrandt Lives 2019-2020.
