This work is on loan from a private collection.

Suzanne is a portrait of an individual absorbed, midstream in the art of music. French philosopher Simone Weil said 'Absolute unmixed attention is prayer', and Suzanne's suspended cello suite is just that, the grace and sincerity of a musician at work, lost in its process. As a musician myself, I have been striving to capture the space of deep solitude and flow that lies between a musician and his or her music.” – Katie Runde
