LETICIA REYES
Born in Chile in 1968, Contemporary Realist Artist.
She discovers her passion for art since she was a child. At the age of 15 she entered the Lyceum of Artistic Education where she received her first studies in Drawing, Painting, Engraving and Sculpture. In 1986, before a commission of academics, she gave a special entrance exam to the University of Chile, where she was accepted, and entered the second year of a Bachelor of Art at the University of Chile directly.
In 1985 she was awarded a scholarship at the Royal Art Academy where she perfected studying the Historical Techniques of the old masters.
In 2000 she joined the team of teachers of Arte Real, where she teaches adults and children until today.
Her work has been exhibited in various cities in Chile.
In the summer of 2019 she is selected for the virtual group exhibition at the Zhou B Art Center Gallery in Chicago. And published in the PoetsArtists Magazine.
In 2019 she is a semifinalist at the 14th International Art Renewal Center Salon (ARC) in the United States.
In 2020 she is selected to participate in the virtual exhibition "Your best painting" at Galería Artelibre.
