Jeanne Crain Leemon

 

Primarily a self-taught artist, Jeanne Crain Leemon paints still-life, landscapes and figures in oil and pastel. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, she has lived in the Knoxville, Tennessee area since 1993.  

 

Jeanne is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America, and also a juried member of the Oil Painters of America (OPA) and the International Guild of Realism. In addition, she is a member of the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society (NOAPS), American Women Artists, and the Portrait Society of America.  Her paintings have been accepted into numerous juried shows online and throughout the Southeastern United States, including four OPA Eastern Regional Shows.  Jeanne’s work has also been featured in the October 2013 issue of the American Art Collector magazine, and in the April/May 2012 issue of the International Artist magazine.

 

She has received many awards for her work, including:
