Cathy Boyer

A San Francisco Bay Area native, Cathy received her Masters of Fine Art in painting from the Academy of Art University in 2015, graduating with honors. To improve her drawing skill, she studied 19th century classical drawing at a bay area atelier for two years.
She is an active member of the California Art Club, Oil Painters of America, American Society of Marine Artists and Salmagundi Club, New York. She has also achieved signature status with American Impressionist Society, Inc. An avid plein air painter, she participates annually in Frank Bette Plein Air Paint Out, a fundraiser for the art center in Alameda, CA
