After a degree in Art History at the Sorbonne in Paris , Florence Remÿ was accepted at the prestigious Florence Academy of Art in Florence (Italy). She obtained the diploma of academic drawing and painting in 2011 and one of her paintings , the Venus of Milo , was chosen among the exceptional achievements of the year . She chose to deepen her studies and to specialize in the most demanding technique : the portrait .
Back in Paris , she quickly received commissions that she realized in her studio in Montparnasse , ans worked in particular for the Invalides on several occasions . She participated in renowned exhibitions , including that of the Society of French Artists created under Louis XIV . She also participated in competitions such as the International Competition of Large Format Painting , placed under the aegis of UNESCO .
She has already received several prizes including the prize of the Society of French Artists at the Great Palace in Paris , the prize of the French Academy of Fine Arts and international prizes (Japanese, Russian).
She is a member of the European Academy of Arts .
