Melisa Calabria
Born in 1993. She've studied at the National University of Art (2012-
2015) and completed a diploma in Arts at the National University of San Martín
(2016-2018). At the same time, she studied in the workshops of Ricardo Celma (2012-2013),
with whom from the beginning to the present she works as an assistant in his workshop,
Martín Palottini (2013), Alejandro Boim (2013-2015), Nicolás Menza (from the
obtaining of the third prize in a contest organized by the Sociedad Estímulo de
Fine arts. 2016-2017).
she studied at Odd Nedrum School during the period of 3 months (October-January) in
2019-2020.
She tooked various seminars including "The restless line" guided by Marcia
Schwartz and Human Figure Seminary with Ariel Gulluni.
She showed her work repeatedly in Buenos Aires in group exhibitions such as in
2019. Sirenas, Galería Espacio Ftalo, 2018. Presents, Galería Error #, among others and
held an individual show in Mexico City in 2017 at Galería Casa
Chimera .
Now she's preparing her next solo exhibition at Bertuzzi Atelier, Buenos
Aires and waits for next year to return to the Nerdrum School with a
student show in Norway the following July.
