Tara Juneau

Canada

Tara Juneau is a Canadian artist working in oil in a realistic style. Tara has won multiple awards both at home on Vancouver Island and abroad, with her work featured in multiple art magazines.

Tara is inspired by the work of John William Waterhouse, William-Aldolphe Bouguereau and the romantic themes of Pre-Raphaelite art. Her main inspiration and teacher is always nature. She works to understand the natural world around her, taking time to paint outdoors and from life whenever possible. Interpreting the visual world in a unique and beautiful way while trying to convey an emotion or story remains the ultimate objective of her work.
