Joanna Allen

Joanna Allen is an early career English sculptor. Her training has been both academic and atelier in the UK and mainland Europe.

“Humankind can inspire and amaze or deeply disgust me. I’m interested in how these opposing attributes, and others, such as life and death, fragility and strength, light and shadow etc. can coexist as visual expression; for example, figurative and abstract, geometric and organic, traditional and modern.”
