Thane Gorek

   Thane Gorek is a representational artist working in Northern Colorado. He studied at the prestigious School of Visual Arts in New York, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 1995.

   After graduating, Gorek chose to pursue oil painting, subsequently honing his skills and refining his visual vocabulary. In recent years his main focus has been on hyperrealist still life painting and stylized depictions of the Colorado landscape.

   Thane Gorek lives in Loveland, Colorado with his wife and two sons. His meticulously rendered oil paintings can be found in numerous private collections both in the United States and abroad.
