Ethan Waghorn

Born in Brisbane, Australia, Ethan studied and worked in film and television for years but switched to visual art with his first solo exhibition in 2017. His style back then can be described as anti-pop art, but lately it has grown into much calmer works of graphite and charcoal. Since then he has focused on portraiture, capturing humanity in a single frame with all the flaws and imperfections that come with it, including every pore, freckle and hair without glossing over them.
