Sandeep Krishnan is a sculptor/draughtsman looking forward to graduating from the Florence Academy of Art and assuming his Graduate in Residence position. His works are much concerned with animating a sense of psychology by discerning atypic conclusions to literal details.
The beauty in sculpture resides in the small windows of abstract possibilities. However, it is not at the sacrifice of academic fidelity.
Sandeep migrated from the south of India to Italy to attain finesse in the craft of sculpting and drawing. Having travelled around India, which is an everchanging cultural and political landscape, it compelled him to be bound to a sense of permanence. That which he found in sculpture having a moment caught in time.
