I first started using coloured pencil in 2015, having discovered the potential of the medium through seeing high quality coloured pencil realism posted on social media. For several years I established myself as a specilaist in bird art, though just recently my interests have been redirected towards still life. In January 2017 I had my first published article in Colored Pencil Magazine and in May 2019 I won my first magazine cover for 'The Gardens - the magazine of the Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney'. The artwork featured on the latter formed part of an exhibition in Sydney on wildlife art in and around the botanic gardens. I have had good success using social media to sell my work directly to private collectors internationally and locally. This year I became a member of the International Guild of Realism and the UK Coloured Pencil Society as part of a push to take part in more high-profile group exhibitions within the realism and coloured pencil global communities.
