Tomás Carlos Ortolani is an Argentine artist, born in Mar del Plata in 1992 and currently living in Córdoba Capital. His affinity with the arts was born, as in most artists, from an early age, and despite his short career, his work is already in private collections both in Argentina and in London and Spain.
When it comes to painting, he has so far maintained a series of paintings, with a realistic approach and sometimes with surrealist airs, where he addresses themes that refer to the links that we maintain between people and how these correspond to our upbringing, our environment in childhood, and how consequently this defines us as well as the people we perceive.
For Tomás, painting is not only a profession, but also a way of life; and art the subjective point of view by which we decide to see the world.
He currently works in conjunction with the Artelibre and James Baird galleries, from Spain and Canada respectively.
