Kari Visscher was born a small town in the Southwestern Canada in 1982. Throughout her education she combined interests in both the arts and sciences. She completed a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Communications prior to pursuing a Medical Degree with a subspecialty in Radiology. By way of workshops at the Toronto Academy of Realist Art she developed an interest in representational oil painting. Although she enjoys painting all types of subject matter, her primary interest is creating narrative imagery of her profession.
