I am a representational portrait artist following the realist tradition. I attended the Columbus College of Art and Design and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in 2008. I moved to Utah to apprentice under master artist William Whitaker until his passing in 2018. I have also studied at the Grand Central Academy in NYC and Studio Escalier in France. I work primarily in drawing and oil painting in an indirect method. My work features quiet, singular figures that are sensitively rendered to emulate the flesh and spirit of my subjects. My home and studio reside in Orem, Utah.
