Rose Ann Bernatovich lives and works in Fairfield, CT but spent most of her life on Long Island in NY where she had access to a variety of galleries, art classes and museums. She began her art career with a Masters Degree in 3D animation and worked for many years in television doing 3D animation and worked for many years in television. Her heart, however, remained firmly fixed in Fine Art and she eventually made the transition to what she really loved, painting portraits and still life. 

 

At the Art Students League in NY she studied classical realism under the tutelage of Sharon Sprung, Frank Mason, Gregg Kreutz and Richard Pionk. She is a an elected member of the Oil Painters of America, The Salmagundi Club, Allied Artists of America, American Women Artists and American Artists Professional League. Her artwork has been exhibited regularly in NY including Rockefeller Center, City Hall, The Salmagundi Club, Nassau County Museum of Art, and Hecksher Museum. She has participated in benefits and auctions for the homeless and environmental concerns. Her artwork has won numerous awards and has been displayed in National and International shows. Her work can also be found in private collections.
