Helene Beland

I have my studio in the Province of Quebec, Canada. I was born in 1949.

I did my traditional formal artistic training at Mission: Renaissance Fine Art School in Los Angeles, California under Larry Gluck's tutelage.  I traveled several times to study in major art museums of North America and Europe.

I established a fine art school in Montreal and taught the Larry Gluck Method for 28 years.  Meanwhile I painted and sold my artworks to private patrons and through the Michel-Ange Art Gallery in Montreal.

I participated to several art contests such as  the Art Renewal Center Salon, Plein Air bi-monthly competitions, the International Art Magazine Competitions, the Canadian Portrait Society Competition and I harvested some awards and honors.
