Living on the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee, Kathie Odom thrives while painting oils en plein air. She calls herself a “Nostalgic Impressionist" as a way of identifying the subjects and style of painting that interest her most. Kathie started her painting career while on the back half of life by participating in plein air competitions across the nation. And rather quickly she gained Signature Memberships in the AIS, OPA and Laguna Plein Air Painters Association. During 2020 Kathie has been featured in Western Art & Architecture, Artists Magazine and Plein Air Magazine.
