Jack Martin has been an illustrator for over 40 years, represented in New York doing cover art for book and recording studios, as well as editorial, advertising, and magazine publishing. He was a member of the Society of Illustrators, and clients include: Doubleday, Harper/Collins, Boy's Life, Ballentine, Simon & Shuster, Reader's Digest, Elektra-Nonesuch, Polydor, RCA, Ibanez, Paramount, CBS, and others.

He has been a teacher at various colleges including: (UofA) University of the Arts, Philadelphia; Moore College, Phila.; (PSAD) Pennsylvania College of Art and Design, Lancaster, PA; AIPH, Phila.; and has taught Illustration, Portfolio, Drawing, Figure Drawing, Color Theory, Painting, Portaiture, Pastel, and Watercolor courses.

Jack maintains a painting studio and lives with his wife Maggie near Phoenixville, PA
