Vanessa Rusczyk creates fine art portraits of the native flora of the American West. Her award-winning paintings of flowers and plants give the viewer a close look at plant structure and natural design, immersing them in that small world on a large scale. Raised in New Mexico, she earned degrees from Princeton University and the New York School of Interior Design before starting her art career in Southern California, where her home studio is surrounded by hills of native chaparral that inspire her work. Vanessa is a Signature Member of American Women Artists.
