Kathleen J. Keating

Kathleen was born in Montana, grew up in Wyoming, and currently lives in New Mexico. She has been drawing horses and western images since she could hold a pencil. She began with copying her father’s pony drawings at the age of four and studied at the Florence Academy of Art in 2004, 2012, and 2019. Art runs in the family as her father and grandfather were both artists. Her maternal side has a long history of ranching in Montana, Texas, and Arizona during the 19th and 20th centuries which instilled a great appreciation for horsemanship.
