A quote from Jordan Sokall sums up my approach to portraiture best: "I like to use portraiture as a way of exploring the psychology behind the human experience." The emotional aspect of portraiture is of the utmost importance to me.
My continued focus is on the human figure and taking my skill set and work to the next level. I have attended numerous workshops throughout the US and Europe with American masters such as Cesar Santos, David Kassan, and Annie Murphy-Robinson. I have also done significant work at Studio Incamminati and ARA of Boston.

I have been a finalist in many regional and national competitions including the Currier Museum of Art, Artist's Magazine and San Diego Museum of Art. Most recently, I was a 2020 finalist in the Portrait Society and juried into the American Women Artists 2020 online competition. I have also participated in the Boston International Show.
