“This painting belongs to the latest series I started in 2020; as opposed to my previous series where I was working on the concept of death through a still life sub-genre called ‘Vanitas’. In these paintings I focused on concepts such as ‘Youth’ and ‘Beauty’. This series is meaningful to me because it is experimental technically-wise. I have really enjoyed the process by playing with pictorial resources which are completely new to me. I think it's very important to be curious both with the themes and the technical approaches, in order to keep the enthusiasm and avoid boring both the general public and myself!” – Alejandro Rosemberg
