My primary aim is to discover a pictorial metaphor of ‘life’ (or the absence of the same) through my art. I simply draw and paint ‘life’ as I see it and attempt to elevate simple views from nature into a personal dissertation of the philosophy of ‘life’— like buffalos enjoying a dip in the shallow waters of a village-pond, in which I used black and grey to emphasize the energetic chaos of the buffalo-herd.
